Jessica and Jordan’s Elegant San Francisco City Hall Wedding by The Siren and Co. Films

I love it when I see a stunning venue pop back up on the blog. Back in February I featured this gorgeous wedding especially for valentines day that took place in the iconic San Francisco City Hall, it featured a bride wearing the most amazing red wedding dress. Well today we are back in San Francisco celebrating the gorgeous and elegant wedding of Jessica and Jordan. This beautiful couple wanted a simplistic day that celebrated their love as well as their wonderful guests, so the focus was on good food and good company. They had an intimate guest count of 50 which meant they could really splash out on the menu. The elegant decor and stylish white flowers, creating a timeless chic look throughout the day. All put together by planner A Gordon Event and captured by The Siren and Co. Films.

A close knit familial celebration highlighting our love and commitment to each other. We focused on what mattered to us which was quality time with our loved ones and good food!

Jessica and Jordan were married on 11th July 2025 at San Francisco City Hall with the reception at La Mar. ‘Regarding the Ceremony, we chose this location because we wanted to have a classical romantic feel to our wedding and the San Francisco City Hall perfectly captures this through the architecture. As for the reception the initial classic wedding white decor of the La Mar private venue also captured this classical romantic feel. However the venue had a last minute color and theme change. Thankfully we felt the rich dark colors of the remodel still captured our classical romantic themes. On several simpler notes, La Mar is where Jessica and I had our first date. Also, a big emphasis point was that we wanted everyone to really enjoy the food at our wedding which we felt La Mar was going to be a winner in that category. We had 50 guests give or take and it tool roughly a year to plan. We want to give a shout out to Dumi (our wedding planner) here. She made wedding planning soooooo easy for us and gave us just outstanding recommendations which thankfully led us to you!’

How they met
We met over Hinge, however this is where Jessica says I cat fished her. She was living in SF at the time and was only looking to date people in SF. However I was living in Belmont which is roughly 30 minutes south of San Francisco (no traffic) and was swiping on hinge while I was working out of the San Francisco office. However here we are and she forgives me for that! that was back in 2022.

The proposal
The proposal took place in Germany (Nymphenburg Palace in Munich) where I employed the help of some of her family that lived in the area to help scout out location and get a photographer. God I was so nervous I don’t really remember much i basically blacked out.

How did you allocate your budget?
The main thing we budgeted for was having our reception at a standout restaurant with delicious food and an open bar. We did not prioritize having a band/DJ or large flower displays.

Where did you splurge and where did you save?
As we mentioned above we felt a really important part of the wedding is the food. We noticed from prior experiences that the food can be a focal point for people coming for the wedding. So we decided to splurge a bit more when it came to food and we were happy we went with that decision!

How did you choose your photographer?
Through Dumi our wedding planner

The Outfits

  • Dress – Sarah Seven
  • Accessories – family heirlooms (pearl necklace and pearl earrings)
  • Suit is from SuitSupply San Francisco, and we chose not to go with a bridal party to simplify things

Theme or colour scheme
Yes, our theme colors were white and coastal blue due to the above mentioned La Mar venue remodel

Flowers
White roses primarily

Decoration
As mentioned above, the initial room color and decoration was classic wedding white and gold, however they remodeled several months before our ceremony so we had to pivot. The room took on a darker color with some nautical themes given seafood is a big offering for the restaurant. So while we really only changed some of the color schemes to match we also changed the seat assignment decorations to be seashells

Food
The cuisine or theme was Peruvian tapas, we chose a wide array of dishes not only to accommodate different diets but also because it was going to be so yummy!

Wedding cake
We went with a SF skyline design of the cake with a white background and the flavors were a vanilla chiffon with interior flavors of coconut and passionfruit

Entertainment
Entertainment were the guests/everyone who came to the wedding. While we had soft music playing in the background, we wanted the focal point to be the people who came. We wanted to encourage everyone to speak to each other, eat together and drink together! We basically treated it as one big family dinner!

Who supplied the stationery?
Minted

Where did you go on your honeymoon
We have done several mini moons such as Hawaii, Portugal, and Key West. However the actual Honeymoon is still in the works, so TBD!

Special moments
The beginning of the day was dreary overcast/foggy San Francisco which was not looking good for our first look. However, several minutes before our planned first look occurred the clouds burned off and it turned into a beautiful sunny day giving panoramic views of the SF skyline/bay.

Advice for other couples
First of all hire Dumi to plan your wedding even if it’s only on a partial wedding planner status. A wedding planner is a must to make things 1000x easier. Second hire The Siren and Co. to capture this special moment because we are extremely satisfied with the dedication of the team as well as the quality of the pictures and videos.
Lastly, focus on what matters to you and don’t be swayed by others.

Biggest surprise
How kind everyone was. Specifically SF residents, as we were getting our photos taken on the Embarcadero we had alot of random strangers giving us well wishes or honks!
