This summer wedding on 6th July of Rosie and Michael at Salt Box Barn Mount Vernon, Washington was the kind of day that makes you forget there’s anywhere else in the world you’d rather be. Set on a working farm in Washington’s Skagit Valley, the outdoor ceremony unfolded under a lush floral arch overflowing with jewel-toned blooms — burgundy, coral, peach, and purple — that felt wild and abundant, like the garden had just decided to show off that day. Guests stood from their seats to watch the first kiss, and honestly, who could blame them?

The reception moved into the barn, but with those sweeping farm views and the greenery spilling in from every direction, you’d never feel like you were inside. String lights and pennant bunting gave the space that effortless summer-party energy — the kind that keeps people on their feet all night.

But the send-off? That’s the part nobody forgot. The couple made their exit aboard a custom Japanese fire truck, lovingly retrofitted into a one-of-a-kind adventure rig, as guests lined the lawn to cheer them off into one of the most stunning Pacific Northwest sunsets I’ve ever photographed.
