Happy Wednesday everyone, and how are you all doing? We are now half way through the week and the sun is shining here in Sheffiled, I hope it is where you are too. Goodness knows we needed the rain to stop and let spring show her face, it’s been absolutely glorious! Talking of glorious, I have this super chic garden parry wedding from Brooklyn to share with you today. Anna and Kyle were married on 28th August 2025 at Carroll Hall in Brooklyn, New York. They chose a stylish day, featuring colourful summer flowers that really make the venue pop! Such a gorgeous day for a gorgeous couple. Big thanks to Amy Sims Photography for the wonderful photos.

Anna and Kyle’s first date stretched hours longer than planned. After matching on Hinge in 2019, they spent a month chatting before finally meeting in Midtown Manhattan. Trivia turned into dinner, dinner turned into dessert, and suddenly it was nearly 3 a.m., and neither of them wanted the night to end. Years later, on a long-awaited trip to Puerto Rico they’d postponed during the pandemic, Kyle carried a ring through hikes and casual scenic detours, throwing in a few decoy moments for good measure. The real proposal happened in a rainforest waterfall, where he somehow produced champagne glasses for a toast while nearly losing the ring to the current, making the moment both romantic and chaotically unforgettable.

Their wedding at Carroll Hall felt like a hidden garden party tucked inside the city. Brick walls were softened by lush greenery and late-summer blooms in pinks, oranges, and fresh greens, while a stunning round chandelier draped in florals anchored the room overhead. The ceremony backdrop later transformed to frame the DJ booth, and guests mingled through alcoves, enjoying a seamless floating dinner that kept the energy relaxed all night long. Pepper, their dog, proudly served as ring bearer while a flower boy enthusiastically tossed petals down the aisle. Multiple petite cakes topped with different flowers sat alongside a fully decked-out dessert bar of cookies, cheesecake, and macarons, ensuring no one left hungry. With a Polaroid guest book filling up with candid snapshots and laughter echoing across the dancefloor, the entire day felt intimate and joyful from start to finish.
