Today we are visiting Ohio in spring time for the gorgeous wedding of Olivia and Alex who were married on 10th May 2025 at Jorgensen Farms in Columbus. This wedding is a beautiful reminder of how a classic wedding can bring timeless elegance to a celebration and create a soft, chilled vibe for the day. The outdoor ceremony filled with the most beautiful pastel spring flowers is a perfect fit for the season, along with the bridesmaids delightful yellow dresses, that work so well with the rest of the theaming. The whole day is full of love as well as a sense of calm and patience. Eastlyn & Joshua have done a fabulous job of capturing it for us.
Olivia and Alex planned a wedding day that felt timeless, joyful, and rooted in connection. Set in mid-May at The Gardens venue at Jorgensen Farms, their celebration unfolded across lush outdoor spaces, a modern arboretum-style building, and the venue’s historic barn, creating a seamless blend of nature, architecture, and classic design.
The morning began in soft, natural light with Olivia getting ready alongside her closest people. She shared a first look with her bridesmaids, who wore warm yellow tones for a bright and happy spring palette, before stepping into a private first look with Alex. The two exchanged quiet, heartfelt vows tucked into the landscape, creating space to be fully present together before the day officially began.
Their ceremony took place in the yard at The Gardens, framed by greenery and the venue’s striking glass-and-wood structure that feels organically integrated into the surrounding landscape. Afterward, guests gathered in the courtyard for cocktail hour, enjoying the relaxed flow of the afternoon before moving into the historic barn for a candlelit reception.
Rather than centering the day around elaborate décor, Olivia and Alex focused on experience. Long tables, soft florals, and glowing candles set the tone, while emotional toasts, laughter, and full-bodied celebration carried the night. The dance floor quickly filled, balancing joyful energy with meaningful moments.
The couple also prioritized time for portraits throughout the day, capturing two distinct sets. The first took place earlier in the afternoon with soft, airy light and flowing veils. Later in the evening, after Olivia swept her hair up, they stepped back outside for a second round of portraits that felt more intimate and romantic, offering a beautiful contrast and sense of progression to the story.
Olivia and Alex’s wedding at Jorgensen Farms is a reflection of what happens when classic design meets thoughtful pacing and an emphasis on presence. A spring garden celebration that feels both elevated and deeply personal.
