Now we are into December it’s safe to say that Christmas is just round the corner, so what better way to celebrate than with a brand new Christmas DIY project. As you are probably aware, I absolute adore Christmas, so when I got chatting with Tracey from Campbell’s flowers and we reminisced about the last DIY project we did together we both agreed that we needed to do a new one! I was so excited for a day full of floristry, talking flowers, wedding trends and all things Christmas. We invited Meg from Fox Moon Photography to join us and she did an amazing job of documenting the process. Tracey came up with this stunning Scandi Inspired design which would be perfect for any Christmas table, I am absolutely delighted with the finished outcome! It was pretty simple to do, so I highly recommend you get your craft on and get inspired by Tracey’s beautiful creations.
What a wonderful day we had together. A huge thank you to my lovely friend Kelly for inviting me to collaborate on this festive project, and to the amazing Meg from Fox Moon Photography for capturing it all so beautifully. It was such a joy spending the day with two inspiring women, supporting one another, sharing creativity and experiences.
We all hope this post inspires you to create something personal, unique and full of festive joy and hopefully a Christmas table arrangement that becomes part of your family memories for years to come.
For this collaboration we created a Scandi inspired, sustainable, foam free and long lasting Christmas centrepiece that brings fragrance, texture and a relaxed sense of luxury to your home. All the materials are super accessible and easy to access through your local florist or even back garden, if you’re lucky enough to have a few bits and pieces you can cut.
During the workshop session. I guided Kelly step by step through the process as we worked together to design a nature inspired table arrangement using the best of what’s fresh and seasonal, along with carefully chosen dried materials.
To complete the look, I styled a Christmas table with glowing candles, ribbon tied napkins and natural accents, to help inspire how to elevate completed designs. Once we added our arrangements, the table came alive with that Boho Luxe wedding styling we both love, the epitome of relaxed, elegant and perfectly festive vibes.
If you’d like to bring a touch of eco friendly festive styling to your home this season, here’s how to create your own sustainable Christmas flowers arrangement, simple, stylish and naturally luxurious.
Choose a waterproof container and fill it with chicken wire to support your stems. It’s the perfect foam free floral design technique that’s kind to the planet and easy to use.
This Scandi inspired, sustainable Christmas arrangement celebrates everything that’s beautiful about the season — fragrant evergreens, natural textures and mindful design. It’s foam free, long lasting and filled with warmth, perfect for a relaxed yet luxurious Christmas at home.
Thank you for reading, and I hope you’ve felt sufficiently inspired to create a beautiful design to wow your guests and be proud of.
I started Campbell’s Flowers 15 years ago, during which time I created large-scale, unforgettable installations, floral designs and elevated styling for weddings and special events, always inspired by the beauty of nature and the changing seasons.
Now, my greatest joy is sharing that experience through creative floristry courses, gentle mentoring, and opportunities to slow down, learn, and reconnect with flowers. Whether you’re looking for a beginner floral design course to spark your creativity, or advanced tuition to learn sustainable and eco-friendly designs, you’ll find a warm and welcoming place to grow here.
My tailored floristry workshops in Sheffield and YouTube tutorials are designed to give you both the technical foundations and the creative confidence to flourish – whether you’re dreaming of a new career or simply want to immerse yourself in the beauty of flowers.
