Chloe and Noah’s Rustic Barn Wedding in Ohio by Kinlee Grace Photography

Happy Friday everyone! I hope you have had a good week so far. I have been off for a large part of this week as Dexter is on half term, its been lovely not getting up at the crack of dawn to get him ready for school and having the odd lie in here and there. We are off for a spot of bowling, mini golf and shopping today. Tomorrow we are all going to Warwick Castle for the weekend for a Halloween adventure, we are staying over on site in a ‘knights lodge’ which I think Dexter is going to love! Before I head off for the weekend though, I have this rather gorgeous rustic barn wedding from Ohio. It’s the super pretty wedding of Chloe and Noah who held an outdoor ceremony complete with bubble confetti and a dusky rose colour scheme, followed by a super cute rustic barn reception, all captured perfectly by Kinlee Grace Photography.

It was the most magical day, so full of love. It went by way too fast.

Chloe and Noah were married on 9th June 2025 at Cedar Bay Farm in Lebanon, Ohio. ‘It was a beautiful space – the barn is so full of charm, and the outdoor area is gorgeous. It took 15 months to plan.’

How they met
We met the day after we moved into the dorms at UC our freshman year – we lived three doors down from each other. We’ve been together 7.5 years!

The proposal
We spent Memorial Day planting roses in our front yard. After we finished planting them, we stepped back to admire them and Noah was going to propose… then our neighbor came over and asked “did you do it yet?” Noah tried again a few hours later, in front of the roses… then the garbage truck pulled onto our street! He ended up proposing that evening, in our living room, while we were eating ice cream and watching Mythbusters.

How did you allocate your budget?
We used the budgeting tool from The Knot as a rough guideline.

Where did you splurge and where did you save?
We splurged on catering. Food is one of the things that people seem to remember about weddings! We were able to save a lot on florals by utilizing the wonderful decor package through Cedar Bay Farms!

How did you choose your photographer?
She was on the recommended vendors list!

The dress
My dress was by Maggie Sottero, my shoes were pink Vans, and most of my jewelry was my grandmother’s!

The suit and bridesmaids
Suit was a custom Joseph Abboud set, and bridesmaids were Azazie and groomsmen were Men’s Wearhouse rentals!

Food
Tacos and barbecue, from Kohler Catering!

Wedding cake
Bonbonerie!

Entertainment
We had a DJ for the ceremony and reception.

Where did you go on your honeymoon
We went to Thailand!

Special moments
Waiting to see each other until we were both at the altar! Our officiant accidentally combining our names during the ceremony, as our friends and family do.

Advice for other couples
Take lots of mental images throughout the day. Don’t forget to eat and stay hydrated!

Biggest surprise
How fast it went by. Everyone warns you that it flies by, but it still took us by surprise.
