Today I am taking you to Lancashire for this super pretty styled shoot. The shoot took place on 1st May 2025 at Eight at Gazegill heritage meadow, nestled in the Ribble Valley in Lancashire. Eight At Gazegill is a new wedding venue, who put together a styled shoot so they could work with like minded wedding suppliers while showing off their beautiful venue. The shoot showcased their gorgeous meadow and incorporated a boho chic theme, with relaxed styling and flowing flowers. The whole shoot is chilled, whimsical and full of the most amazing florals.
‘Tucked away in the rolling hills of the Ribble Valley, Eight at Gazegill is a stunning new wedding venue that blends nature, sustainability, and romance.
With a wonderful team of creative wedding suppliers, we brought a shared vision to life — boho chic meets barefoot romance. Flowing florals, relaxed styling, and organic details all echoed the heart of the venue: natural, grounded, and deeply connected to the land.
The heritage wildflower meadow was the perfect backdrop — not quite in full bloom yet, but you could feel the magic waiting to happen. As golden hour arrived, Mother Nature truly delivered, flooding the meadow with the warmest glow — one of those evenings photographers dream of!’
What made you decide to do the shoot?
Ray Walmsley Films and I were invited by the venue to collaborate on a styled shoot to help launch their brand-new wedding space.
They needed photo and video content to help promote this exciting new venture, and we were thrilled to be involved.
What was your inspiration behind it?
A barefoot boho bride, surrounded by wildflowers in the meadow — with views of Pendle Hill glowing in the golden hour light. That mix of wild nature and soft romance was our guide throughout the shoot.
Our goal was to showcase and support the launch of this beautiful new venue, as well as their upcoming wedding fair — held in a gorgeous sail marquee, set right in the now fully blooming wildflower meadow.
As a bonus, we all walked away with new creative friendships. We’re already planning a little catch-up once wedding season starts to slow down!
