Welcome to the middle part of the week, well done for making it this far, not long to go now before the weekend! I have a really gorgeous wedding to share with you today, full of pretty green and pink pastels and the loveliest of couples. Brooke and Delaney were married on 26th September 2024 in San Diego, California. The whole day was held outside from the romantic outdoor ceremony underneath the trees, to the stylish outdoor reception full of the most gorgeous flowers. A truly beautiful wedding, all captured perfectly by Desert Born Studios.
Tell us about your love story and your big day?
We met in college and quickly became best friends. We were best friends for 4 years before we decided to start dating. We moved to Nashville together only after 8 months of dating so I could start my dream job. We made our way back to San Diego a year later and grew our relationship even deeper. Delaney and I have been very career focused since we got back to San Diego but we knew we were soulmates and couldn’t wait to get married. We got engaged in July of 2022 and planned to get married in September 2024! We planned our wedding for 2 years and it truly was the most perfect day.
Wedding location
We chose Botanica because we loved the feel of how open and fun it was. The greenery and the atmosphere was truly breath-taking and Delaney and I both felt it suited us and our vision perfectly.
Theme and overall vibe of your wedding day?
We knew we wanted it to be fun, full of warmth and everyone feeling how much Delaney and I love each other.
Favourite memories of the day?
Favourite memories are the first look, taking photos with our bridesmaids before the ceremony and then dancing at the reception!
