Cherry and Franco’s Romantic Beach Side Wedding in St Ives by Clare Kinchin Photography

The sun is out, it’s nearly Easter and spring is most certainly in the air! So today I have this gorgeous UK based wedding to share with you all, from my birth place Cornwall. Cornwall is such a beautiful part of the country, the beach, the coast line and the rolling fields all make it the perfect place to get married, which is exactly what Cherry and Franco did on 31st August 2024 at the Harbour Hotel St Ives. Cherry and Franco opted for an elegant day filled with beautiful white and green flowers but kept the vibe laid back, relaxed and romantic. They went bare foot for their portrait shots on the beach and partied the night away in style. Big thanks to Clare Kinchin Photography for the beautiful photos.

Cherry and Franco are a fun, romantic, carefree couple. There was a ton of love between this beautiful couple. Franco was nervous and pretty emotional as Cherry walked down the aisle in her Essense of Australia dress.
She had a first look with her father…we were all in tears it was such a lovely moment. Cherry’s sister was her bridesmaid and Franco’s good friend was Best Man.
The weather was incredible looking out over the Bay at St Ives, it was amazing. The couple tied the knot and then walked out onto the lawn to great their guests, they had a few family pictures and couple shots and enjoyed the Campagne and canapés. The atmosphere was relaxed and laid back, just how they wanted it, lots of fun with guests and their close family.
After dinner speeches were so much fun, especially the Best Man, Franco got truly roasted as only best friends can do.
The couple then walked to the beach with me and the videographer for some truly gorgeous evening portraits, the light in St Ives is incredible and it made the portraits unforgettable. The couple wondered in bare feet and just enjoyed the moment together.
Back to the hotel and the dancing was wild, crazy energetic and hilarious! The end of the evening was finished with a sparkler run. It was an absolute joy to photograph and be part of this special couples day, I loved their images and so did the couple.
