Happy Friday everyone! Today is my birthday, so I am super happy and excited for the day ahead. Nik has taken the day off work to spend with me, so we are doing brunch first then the cinema, followed by an early dinner and then the theatre. On Saturday Dexter is joining us for an escape room and then all out to my favourite restaurant. Sunday I am meeting my best friend for lunch and a walk round Chatsworth. So a full on fun packed weekend ahead! Before any of that though I have this gorgeous Italian wedding to share with you. Caroline and Matthias were married on 28th September 2024 at La Villa Hotel in Piedmont, Italy. The wedding comes in two halves. Firstly a pre wedding photo shoot round the local village streets, followed by a welcome dinner for their guests. Then the main event, a totally stunning outdoor wedding, which sees Caroline wearing the most beautiful Talbot Runhof backless wedding dress. The whole event has been captured perfectly by Ludovica & Valerio.
Caroline and Matthias’ wedding at La Villa Hotel in Mombaruzzo was a stunning celebration set in the rolling vineyards of Piedmont. The festivities began with a pre-wedding photoshoot in the golden countryside, where the couple embraced a relaxed and joyful atmosphere: we photographed them in the little town of Fontanile, walking around the ancient roads. Later, they welcomed their guests with a poolside gathering, enjoying homemade pizza and artisan gelato under the Italian sunset. On the wedding day, the couple got ready in La Villa’s elegant suites before greeting guests with a casual welcome drink. The ceremony took place on a panoramic terrace overlooking the vineyards, beautifully styled in a sophisticated sage-green palette. After exchanging heartfelt vows, the newlyweds enjoyed a romantic golden-hour photoshoot among the vines. Guests then moved to the covered pergola for an aperitif, where live music from The Soundtrackers set the mood- and the dances! A refined dinner in the courtyard featured elegant sage-green décor and a warm Italian wedding tradition of waving napkins to celebrate the couple’s arrival. The evening continued with a stunning cake-cutting moment by the pool, followed by a lively night of dancing.
