This morning I am delighted to feature this gorgeous ‘Sustainability and Simplicity’ styled hoot. The shoot took place on 24th September 2023 at Rocking H Ranch, Jackson Hole, Wyoming. and was sent into me by Fox Tails Photography. ‘Located in one of the most exclusive locations in Wyoming and inspired by the beauty of autumn. This golden editorial takes place against the majestic backdrop of the Bighorn Mountains. Shot by Kayla Graves of Foxtails Photography, it sought to feature the best of Wyoming. From utilizing local vendors such as Plush Florals and Atwood Design for a stream of sustainably grown and curated bloom, to the glamour of Theia Couture’s wedding gown and veil. This styled shoot combines beauty, elegance and simplicity at its best.’ The shoot is bursting with the most gorgeous flowers, simple, understated and realistic to replicate if you so wished for your own wedding.
It was getting ready to frost and we hate to see such beautiful flowers go to waste. Joni harvested a collection of stunning florals plucked from local gardens. Collectively, it became a meadow of natural elegance under a cathedral of aspens with a stunning view of the Grand Tetons.
The idea behind the shoot came from the surrounding beauty and natural elegance of the fall harvest. Our core theme cantered on sustainability and simplicity since the main focal point of the shoot is to highlight the symmetry flowing between the venue, details, and landscape.
When it came to conceptualizing this stunning ceremony, I wanted to highlight the mastery of working with local vendors while utilizing the beauty of the landscape, we sought to create an elegant and sustainable occasion that is truly memorable.
This entire editorial came together in less than a week, and everything just went together seamlessly which is a massive accomplishment because we were able to make the vision come to life.
