Happy Monday everyone, I do hope you had a good weekend? Did you celebrate Bonfire Night? We went to two displays, one on Saturday night and one on Sunday, both were amazing. I also went to my first Christmas market of the year at Chatsworth, which was lots of fun. We went into the main house which they have decorated for Christmas, so I am feeling super festive now, maybe a bit too early, but I’m going to try and keep that festive feeling going for the next couple of months! So on with today’s wedding and it’s the turn of Helen and Donnie who were married on their families property on 5th September 2021 at Valdese in North Carolina. They worked on the site for months to clear trees, create a road and create a reception area. They made their own wedding venue, that has now become Emerald Glen Weddings! Their décor was inspired by bohemian colours and textures with a Twilight-like feel to the forest and lights. It was an absolutely beautiful wedding, I just love it! Big thanks to Haley Boothe Photography for the lovely collection of images.

It’s amazing how they worked for months for the property and made it their wedding reception area, and now it has become a wedding venue to accommodate other couples as well! Also, I love the images! The tones perfectly caught the wedding’s concept.
