Phili and Will’s Relaxed Outdoor Cornish Wedding by Jennifer Jane Photography

Happy Friday everyone and how are you all? I don’t know about you but this week has flown by. It’s been the first half of the Easter holidays here in Sheffield, so my working week has been less structured than normal, but I’m enjoying my days out with Dexter and more of that to come next week, so all is good! I am finishing off the week with the wedding of Phili and Will who held a gorgeous outdoor wedding along the coastline of Cornwall on 11th September 2021 at Polhawn Fort. They had 80 guests and it took just over a year to plan. Phili wore the most stunning Grace Loves Lace gown and looks absolute divine in it! The whole day is full of laugher, this couple really are full of fun! Big thanks to Jennifer Jane Photography for the lovely images.

The Dress was Honey Silk by Grace Loves Lace and was a luxurious double-layered Crepe de Chine silk gown, with fine silk straps, an elegant bodice and cowl neckline, with a defined waist and an A-line flare skirt to creates the most stunning hourglass silhouette. Shoes were ivory satin sandals with a diamante block heal.

The suit and bridesmaids
Bridesmaids wore Forest green fitted dresses with a faux cross over neckline.

Theme or colour scheme
No real colour scheme, although bridesmaids wore dark green.

Flowers
Floristry was by Floral Art Devon, who created bouquets tied with hessian that were created using: King Protea, Astrantia ,Spray roses, Astilbe, Trailing Amaranthus, and also we added some natural birch twigs and feathers with mixed foliages including eucalyptus

Decoration
Tall gold stands Queen Proteas, spray roses, Astilbe, trailing Amaranthus, also roses and lisianthus and wax flower with the mixed foliages.

Wedding cake
The wedding cake was a three-tier iced cake with the couple and their dog on the top and was made by a friend.

Entertainment
During the day Melegari String Quartet played atmospheric music for guests to listen to and in the evening the band Truly Medley Deeply played for guests to dance to.

Biggest surprise
The biggest surprise was when our dog showed up after the ceremony for a quick visit. And our flashing trainers to dance on the dancefloor.
