Last year Covid ruined a lot of wedding plans! So many canceled and postponed weddings that have been rolling on to this year and next. However, Umbria and Justin, today’s gorgeous couple, didn’t let Covid get in their way. Their original plans of a mountain elopement may have had to be changed, but their revised wedding plans of an intimate Lakeside Cabin, closer to home, were just as gorgeous if not more! Umbria and Justin were married on 27th May 2020 at Smith Lake Cabin Crane Hill, Alabama. It may have rained but they didn’t let the weather dampen their spirts. Their beautiful day is full of love, fun and gorgeous memories. Big thanks to The Rose Reflective for the lovely images.
Umbria and Justin had planned to run off to the mountains of Montana to elope surrounded by their closest family this spring. Flights shut down due to COVID-19 and they were forced to rearrange their plans. They rented a beautiful modern cabin an hour away from home, where they were married on a rainy day overlooking Smith Lake. The bride’s mother, Patti Elder, is a trained, 5-star chef. She catered the food for the evening. The bride, groom, their son, and sisters ended their night by jumping into the lake in all their wedding getup.
