This afternoon I am taking you back to Autumn. Gorgeous autunmal soft oranges, browns and yellow tones, a sea of falling leaves and low sunlight when Lilybean Photography shares with us some beautiful ideas for an Eco wedding. Lisa and Ady from Lilybean worked with a wonderful collection of talented wedding suppliers to bring us this beautiful woodland wedding inspiration, all of which is eco-friendly and full of natural elements. The shoot took place in October last year at Elvetham in Hampshire with the idea of showing brides and grooms that your wedding can still look beautiful, be full of amazing details and be Eco friendly at the same time.
‘We wanted this shoot to be delicately beautiful and inspired by the natural colours and textures of the peaceful Hampshire woodland surroundings. Using a team of creative suppliers and eco-friendly products we were able to create a light, airy and natural theme throughout.’
We used an 18th century silk gown which had been embellished with flourishes of embroidered leaves
and flowers. We chose to use a silk gown as this is eco friendly. We chose the deep hues of the bouquet to enhance the details on the dress which married with the dried flowers of the crown.
The cake was a beautiful array of burnt oranges and yellows with a delicate hand painted flourish of
watercolour leaves. This matched wonderfully with our warm woodland theme.
We had homemade chutney favours in pretty recycled jars, pretty felted toadstools for the children
favours and eco wood crockery. The food was from the farmers market.
The photographer’s are woodland dwellers and love to work with the beauty of the natural surroundings
of wherever they are, which reflects in their work.
The hair and makeup artist created a rustic style boho plaint which they could entwine a flower crown in.
They used eco makeup to create a natural look.
The stationery was created eco-friendly with a woodland theme.
We had an amazing videographer whom we know well and he worked hard to capture all the moments of shoot in his natural fly on the wall style we have always liked so much.
