Today we have a super glam wedding to share with you. It’s my birthday today, so I wanted to choose a wedding that was a little different, full of glam and the most beautiful bide. For me it’s a day of shopping, a trip to the cinema and a spot of dinner, I can’t wait! For the bride and groom, Ana and Pedro, their wedding was the most wonderful celebration, following a Great Gatsby theme, they chose lots of feathers, opulent flowers and the most stunning Spanish setting. Ana wears an absolutely knock out Ruben Hernandez gown, that has a removable skirt for the evening reception. A truly stunning wedding, that was kindly sent into me by their planner and stylist Paloma Cruz Eventos. Many thanks also to Oscar Guillen to for the lovely images.
Ana and Pedro were married on the 17th September 2016 at Finca El Torrero, Spain. ‘We wanted to get married in a garden! We had 150 guests and the wedding took 1 year to plan.’
How they met
We met one summer night in a disco and we started our relationship 6 years ago.
The Proposal
Like Mr Big proposed to Carrie! In a dressing room.
How did you allocate your budget?
We spent a little more than we thought…
Where did you splurge?
We splashed out on drinks!
Why did you choose your photographer?
We chose Oscar Guillen because our wedding planners Paloma Cruz Eventos advised us that his work was great.
The Dress
My dress was made by Ruben Hernandez. My headdress by Maria Castellote. And my shoes by Jimmy Choo and Miu Miu.
The suit and bridesmaids
The suit was made by Canalli and every bridesmaids chose her dress.
Theme or colour scheme
Yes, our inspiration theme was the movie Great Gatsby.
Flowers
We had lots of Peony and hydrangea.
Decoration
In art deco styling, we used feathers, flowers, and crystal…
Food
We had a great cocktail party and then, Spanish gazpacho and tuna.
The Wedding Cake
A six tier cake of chocolate and vanilla.
Entertainment
We had DJ, football table, tattoos and photo booth.
Special Moments or Highlights
When I gave two bouquets of flowers to my mum and my grandmum.
Advice for Other Couples
My most important tip is that they get a good wedding planner.
Biggest Surprise
My biggest surprise was night before wedding day. My bridesmaids came to the hotel where I slept, and they came with a photographer and with a great dinner. We had a very special moment which we will remember for ever.
