Friday Film Club: Isabelle and Simon’s Bohemian Ibiza Beach Wedding by Loud Cinematography

Today we are back with a long-awaited edition of Friday Film Club, as we head across to my favourite place in the world, Ibiza. Isabelle & Simon travelled from Switzerland to be married on the 18th September 2017 at Villa Sarahmuk in Finca near San Antonio in Ibiza (Villa Sarahmuk). They had 40 guests all dressed in white overlooking the Mediterranean at their stunning ceremony. The day is totally beautiful, filled with so much sun, love and a real bohemian vibe. Perfect!

There was this unforgettable outdoor-sunset-shaman-ceremony that not only felt so remarkable and so suitable to this wonderful place but also unique in its form and shape.

Isabelle and Simon got married on their favorite island, San Antonio in Ibiza, which they visit around 2-3 times a year (so it was only natural that they decided to tie the knot there). There was this idea to celebrate in the warmth and in this magical atmosphere. They wanted something casual, easy, relaxed, beachy, holiday-style, hippie and Boho and found it here. And above all there was Jean Michel (the guru of their ceremony), who is also from Switzerland and has lived here for a long period of time. When they met him, Isabelle said, it was clear for them: ‘Here and with him.’

Sasha videographer says I met Isabelle on a shoot some time ago. When she told me she got married in Ibiza and would like to have me capturing this special moment I said “I’d love to come but tell me when”. Luckily the wedding was on a Sunday and I could make it (had a wedding the day before and just flew in in the morning of their wedding day). It was so magical and felt so different from most weddings I capture – it simply was a day to remember.’
