About Rewritten:

Exciting new bridesmaids dress brand Rewritten’s first collection is now available to buy from November 2016. Based in London, Rewritten was created in 2016 by friends Katie Arnott and Frances Hudson, who, frustrated by the current offering of bridesmaids dresses for their own bridesmaids, decided to design their own.

Rewritten is designed for all of those damn cool bridesmaids out there, we create beautiful bridesmaids dresses which are chic, sophisticated, a little bit bohemian and take an entirely modern approach to bridal wear. We work alongside some of the world’s best suppliers to offer flattering, simple designs in the most beautiful fabric and colour combinations.

Having gained a 1^st class Honours degree in fashion design from the prestigious Edinburgh College of Art in 2008, Frances began a ten year career in luxury fashion and jewellery PR, working for highly regarded brands such as NET-A-PORTER, Prada, Carolina Herrera and Astley Clarke. Katie is a sales wizard and has been working in the jewellery industry for almost ten years managing UK & International wholesale and direct channels for a major global jewellery brand. Her experience in market analysis and relationship building – ultimately growing UK & International sales channels – is second to none.

The launch collection from Rewritten features six signature styles, each available in one of four colours – Concrete, Peachy, Bluebell and Chianti. Crafted in a beautiful chiffon crepe polyester, each dress is layered throughout and finished with invisible zips, delicate ties and covered buttons.

Styles include The Vienna, a floor length racer back dress with waist tie fastening, The Marrakech, a cold-shoulder double layer top with floor length skirt, The Havana, a halter neck top with stitch detailing and a stepped hem with a floor length skirt, The Florence, an ankle length wrap dress with back and waist tie detail, the Mykonos, a cold shoulder floor length gown and The Tokyo, a knee length wrap dress with back and waist tie detail. Each dress is designed with a wide circumference to give a fuller skirt, allowing for beautiful movement when walking or dancing.

Priced at between £140 – £160, each dress, top and skirt will come specially packaged in a luxury Rewritten box. Initially available to buy online from 1^st November 2016, the website will offer a unique service in which brides can send each of their bridesmaids a dress to their individual addresses, we want it to feel like the special gift it should be.
