This afternoon we have a Vogue inspired elopement shoot to share with you all, held at the stunning Devonport Guildhall. With fabulous hair and make-up, I’m sure you will agree that the 60s styling looks fantastic and the bride and groom look very stylish indeed! With the images submitted in a creative collaboration between Laura from The Bespoke Bride Guide and Liberty Pearl Photography (who we have featured on Boho before with this tropical theme shoot), I absolutely adore the fun and fashion inspired urban styling.
A Vogue inspired 60’s chic elopement styled shoot, a vision collaboratively created by The Bespoke Bride Guide and Liberty Pearl Photography . Chic modern styling with a 1960s feel, giving inspiration to those couples looking for a small wedding at a historic venue in the city.
To offer couples inspiration for their big day which is different to what we are currently seeing. We love the 60s and Vogue images from the period we thought we would combine them for some gorgeous images. It also gave the Devonport Guildhall a chance to shine and showcase the talents of our other suppliers who are part of the The Bespoke Bride Guide.
Influenced by original Vogue photographs and the iconic backdrop of the Devonport Guildhall, we took inspiration from the iconic 60s- the pastel colour palette, the circular motifs and slim silhouettes of tailoring of the period, alongside a carefree sense of fun. Stylised beehives, ribbons, original Minis and Twiggy- style bold makeup all contributed to gorgeous feel of this shoot of an eloping couple having an intimate ceremony.
We wanted all of our suppliers to be happy with the images and for us to have the shoot to share with our couples. We couldn’t be happier with Amber and Margo’s efforts, they captured the day perfectly.
