Real Weddings: 2 for 1 – a stripy jumper pre wedding shoot with a purple themed wedding

Today’s Real Wedding is a 2 for 1 special as you are getting the pre wedding shoot along with the wedding as well. I was sent the engagement shoot in by Manasi Kashyap and I loved the stripy jumper theme straight away! simple yet lost of fun! When Manasi asked if I wanted the wedding as well I snapped it up, so for the first time you have the pre wedding shoot and wedding all in one sitting!
Manasi Kashyap is a London based photographer who also works out of India 3 months of the year to cover weddings on the subcontinent. Her style is a blend of reportage, editorial and fun. Her approach is friendly and unobtrusive. Manasi has lived and studied in Texas, NoVA, DC, Mumbai and Cambridge so brings with her a vast amount of experience to draw upon!

The pre wedding shoot

the couple are Charlotte Hudson & Chris May, who got married on 7^th May. The pre wedding shoot took place at Kew Gardens on 2^nd April. The jumpers were their idea.

The Wedding

They got married in Manchester, Charlotte’s dress was from wedding dress factory outlet , the dress is designed by a company called Estes, with shoes from Slaters! (it’s a shop which specialises in work wear, they just happened to match the tone of her dress!) Hair by Bridget Haworth, Headwiig Salon, Rawtenstall and Charlotte did he own makeup.
Cake was made by a family friend and and the flowers were put together by Charlottes dad who planted them all  in tea pots and tea cups, her friend Lucy also painted a jug for the top table,  which her dad also planted. The bridal party flowers were by  Rowlands in Rawtenstall
