Miles and Emily's 'Ibiza Chic' Beautiful Villa Wedding by Eclection Photography

Today I am taking you to my favourite place in the world: Ibiza! As you probably know Ibiza is where I got married. We went back last year to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary and had an amazing time. So much so that we are going back again in May just because we love it so much. I always love receiving weddings from Ibiza, I love seeing how the island has changed, new venues that have popped up and other people holding their special day on this amazing island. Today it is the turn of Emily and Miles who held a beautiful, laid back ‘Ibiza chic’ day at Las Cicadas Ibiza a stunning boutique villa, full of Ibizan charm. They went for a sun bleached Tropical colour scheme and kept the rest of their decor simple due to the natural beauty of the Villa. Lots of Boho style, floating dresses and Designer sunglasses. This is a simply stunning day, dripping in Ibizan sunshine and captured beautifully by Eclection Photography.

‘Fun, Vibrant and Joyous’

Emily and Miles were married on 4th July 2019 at Las Cicadas Ibiza.. ‘We loved the location and setting we have a lot of love for Ibiza island and many happy memories here. We had 150 guests and it took 10 months to plan.’

Theme or colour scheme
Sun bleached Tropical – sage, tangerine, blush coral,

Flowers
Very natural flowers rosemary and sage, white babies breath and pink begonias

Decoration
Very simple macramé and lace the venue has a lot of character so it did not need a lot of decoration.

Food
We had a Spanish food family style sharing, grilled seabass fish, grilled sirloin steak, with lots of large grilled salads, potato and peppers, tomatoes and aubergine food was by La Grande bouffe.

Special moments
The speeches and having our close family friend as a celebrant, having all the people we love in the same space, in the sun! Our friend DJ’d and we had a pool party the next day to relax catch up with everyone properly.

Advice for other couples
Plan with plenty of time, delegate to professionals where possible and make sure you have a trusty best man or women to be your point of contact on the day, we where lucky that the staff and team at the venue where so well organised and helpful
