How on earth can it be Thursday already? This week so far has been an amazing week on the blog and we have much more to come! I worked with Photographer Sacha Columbia Bell and Hayley from Neon Doves – we didn’t have a boring time! With summer coming to a close, we wanted to take advantage of that dreamy late afternoon light and an airy, ethereal dress Hayley had in her closet while we had the chance. We also wanted an excuse to eat cake and drink pink wine in the middle of the day.
Hayley’s beach house, where we had the shoot, was our source of inspiration. It’s a bit secluded, full of wildflowers and greenery and pear trees. It’s our own secret garden! Our intention was to create an intimate setting that showcased some handmade elements, fun desserts, and mismatched tableware to serve as some bridal shower inspiration. Sometimes it doesn’t take much to make an impact – Hayley created the centrepiece and flower crown from her garden and a few items from the craft store.
