Todays wedding is a lovely way to finish off the week. It took place on the 11th April this year and comes all the way from Maryland in the US and features one of my favourite colour schemes, grey and yellow. Grey and yellow make such a fab colour combo, it is fresh, modern and goes well with a rustic wedding like this or more of a modern, industrial feel that is so popular at the moment. With some beautiful finishing touches in the detail and the decorations this wedding is just gorgeous. Big thanks to Joy Michelle Photography for the lovely submission.
Katy and Geoff are the nicest and most laid back people you will ever meet. They wanted their day to be about family and love. Their ceremony took place inside the leftover foundations/stone of the old barn that was once on the grounds, surrounded by 70 of their closest friends and family. Their reception was set up in long, family style dinner table set ups with champaign and beautiful handmade signs on each setting. I loved the colors and tones of the day. The bridal party wore j crew suits in a soft gray and the bridesmaids wore soft dove-gray as well. There were pops of yellow in the flowers, decor, and paper goods throughout the day.
