Today’s wedding comes from one if the most gorgeous wedding locations I believe we have in the UK and one I have featured a number of times on the blog. Alnwick Treehouse is a stunning location in Northumberland set amongst the tree tops, boasting the most amazing backdrop for any wedding, which is why Rachel and Stuart chose it for their day. As the venue itself was so unusual, they didn’t feel it needed much decoration, so they kept the tables simple and added to it with homemade fudge favours and simple, natural touches. They held the ceremony outside, making the most of the location and then partied into the night. A fantastic day, captured beautifully by Daz Mack.
Rachel and Stuart were married on 22nd September 2018 at Alnwick Treehouse in Northumberland. ‘The reason we decided on the Treehouse is because it’s a Treehouse and it was something different and the venue was absolutely beautiful. There were around 67 guests, we booked the venue around January 2017 and the photographer and DJ shortly after and then the rest just over a year before the wedding.’

This afternoon we are talking bridesmaids outfits with one of our favourite bridesmaids designers, Rewritten. We LOVE Rewritten here at Boho, we have featured them on a number of occasions, so always keen to invite them back onto the blog to tell us more about their new collections. This time they have really pushed the boat out with their amazing new designs as they have added new pant suits, all in ones and trouser separates to their beautiful collection. I just love the 70s feel to these designs, the wrap over detailing is super flattering, the new fabrics and the stunning jewel tones. You must check out this fabulous new collection, you really are going to love it.
Inspired by the oversized, billowing, silhouettes of the 1970’s, our new collection is an exciting celebration of vivid colour and fluid movement. With a heavy emphasis on the mix and match trend, flowing palazzo trousers are teamed with a kimono style wrap top; a beautifully cut bias skirt is worn with a delicate cross strap camisole. Bowed sashes and neck ties adorn our dramatic wide leg Soho jumpsuit whilst a provocative low back slip dress is barely seen under the long sleeve bias cut chiffon overlay of our Prague dress. We have introduced new fabric and colour combinations; jewel tones are brought to life in silk satin and best-selling styles such as our Mykonos, Vienna and Florence are re-imagined in luscious tones of Blackcurrant, Heather and Coral.

Hello everyone and how is your Tuesday going so far? I hope it is a good one for you and the weather is being kind to you? Today I have another sunshine filled wedding for you. This time I am taking you to sunny Nashville. Jessica and Grant chose this greenhouse venue for their wedding as they fell in love with it the first time they went to visit. They filled their day with lots of lovely white flowers and lots of greenery. They used rustic decoration, along with candles, tree stumps and accents of blush. Jessica and Grant look stunning, I especially love Grants groomsmen’s outfits and Jessica’s gorgeous bouquet. Thanks to John Myers Photography for the lovely images.
Jessica and Grant were married on 8th July at Long Hollow Gardens And Nursery in Nashville. ‘We fell in Love as soon as we puled up. The gardens and Green house were exactly what we were envisioning for our wedding and everyone was so kind and welcoming. We had 220 guests and it too one year and 3 months to plan.’

Happy Monday everyone and how are you all this lovely Monday morning! I hope the weather is as lovely where you are as it as been here. It’s been wonderful to see the sunshine over the last few days! Roll on Spring, we can’t wait to see you in all your splendor! How was your weekend? Nik and I had a proper date night at our friends 40th birthday party. Then yesterday we met up with Nik’s sister and her children at a local farm. It’s now half term, so all you other working parents out there good luck!! I will be juggling running the blog, while looking after Dexter this week, which could be interesting.
We are starting the week of real weddings with this super chilled and relaxed farm wedding in Norfolk. Holly and David chose a local farm venue that they fell in love with straight away. They kept things simple and had a relaxed, natural day and then a massive party. All captured beautifully by Georgia Rachael.
Holly and David were married on 31st August 2018 at College Farm, Thompson in Norfolk. ‘We just fell in love with the venue. It definitely doesn’t hurt that the venue owner, Katharine, is an absolute star and we live only 10 minutes away. We had about 50 guests in the day and an additional 80 or so in the evening. We only really started planning about a year before we got married.’

Happy Friday everyone, I hope have had a good week? How was your Valentine’s day? Did you celebrate or aren’t you a fan? I’m still full from all the food Nik cooked for me yesterday, but I had a lovely evening. I’m hoping to hear of some Valentines day proposals soon, I do love a good propsal story! What are your plans for the weekend? I am out for a friends 40th birthday celebrations. It should be a good night! Moving on with today’s wedding and I am finishing the week with a large dose of summer sunshine as I take you back to July of last year for the festival wedding of Riona and Matthew, courtesy of Real Simple Photography. Their day is full of summer fun, lots of outdoor games, a bucking bronco, a BBQ, and a fab festival theme that ran throughout the day.
Riona and Matthew were married on 14th July 2018 at Holy Family Church, Reigate Surrey. with the reception at Westmead events, Nutfield Surrey. ‘The church was also where I (Rio) was baptised, holy communion and held my Mother’s funeral. The venue, we wanted an outside festival wedding. I had come across the venue a few years earlier online (with my Mum) which provided the outdoor field aspect but in very beautiful settings with additional facilities to a “bog standard field” such as a summer house for use of the wedding party, a lake, parking facilities on site and ability to camp on site if so required. We had 160 guests in the day and 250 in the evening and it took a year and a half to plan.’
