I’m on a mission to add more warmth and sunshine to your day this week, so today we are heading across to Illinois in the US for this beautifully bright and cheerful outdoor wedding which has been sent into me by Kristin Damore from Jeremy and Kristin. It’s the wedding of Kelsie and Andrew who were married on 18th August at Mabery Gelvin Botanical Gardens, Illinois.
Kelsie the bride tells us more about the wedding…………
As a cancer survivor planning my wedding was literally a dream come true. Andrew and I met in college and loved planning our backyard vintage wedding. Our wedding was a DIY wedding. My mom helped make the floral arrangements and cake. My sister and I made all the details and buntings at the reception. Our DIY wedding had an approximate budget of $7000. I wore my grandmother’s necklace and she placed it on me before the ceremony. I also have a twin brother who was a part of my bridal party. We gave him the official title of “bridestwin” and it was so much fun getting pictures with my girls and my twin.

I love your wedding bouquet. The sunflowers are gorgeous. Congrats!
Beautiful wedding! Any chance the bride has a general breakdown of the budget?
