Saturday Cinema: Jenna and Ian’s Winter wedding by Silk Wedding Videos

Happy Saturday to you all and welcome along to another Saturday Cinema! Todays wedding has been sent into me by Tom Harrington from Silk Wedding Videos.
I tend to change the rules with the kind of weddings I feature when it comes to Saturday Cinema. With the real wedding I like to feature the kind of weddings I actually plan myself, weddings that are less traditional and have more of an alternative, DIY, more rustic feel to them. With wedding films it really is about how that film has touched me. Someone asked how I pick which films to post and I told them that I post the films that make me cry and also that have a good choice of music included in them…………..and todays wedding is definitely one fo them…….I cryed a lot!
It’s the wedding of Jenna and Ian Parry who were married on 29th December at Crewe Hall in Cheshire.

What really gets me about this film is when Jenna is saying her vows, she is so emotional and when she mouths I love you to Ian at the end..my heart just skipped! Also when she is getting ready you can see she is nervous but trying her best to cover her nerves up, so sweet! I love the way this film is shot, it’s so beautifully put together, with some lovely candid shots of the guests along with a wonderful choice in music to accompany! It makes me want to go and watch my wedding video again.

I asked Tom what his favourite part fo the wedding was ‘The brides face as she walks down the aisle… it doesn’t get better than that!’
What do you think make a good wedding video ‘I love it when a wedding film can capture all the natural emotions of the day… all those little moments that show the excitement, nerves and love on somebody’s face is priceless and can not be staged. A great wedding film maker will capture all of this, and do it with flare, without even being noticed.’
