Charlotte and Zachary’s Exotic Beachfront Wedding by Estefanía Herrera Photography

Happy Thursday everyone, as we battle with the horrible November weather here in the UK I am even more grateful that I get to feature so many gorgeous destination weddings here on the blog, goodness knows we are in need of some sunshine in our lives! Today it’s the turn of Charlotte and Zachary who were married on 18th January 2025 at Pangas beach club in Costa Rica. From their meaningful ceremony location to their jungle honeymoon near Arenal Volcano, Charlotte and Zach’s Costa Rica wedding captured the spirit of adventure, love, and family that has defined their relationship from the beginning. Mil Besos Costa Rica was responsible for planning the wedding and what an amazing job they did and Estefanía Herrera Photograp was there to capture the day for us.

Charlotte and Zach’s love story has always had a special tie to Tamarindo, Costa Rica. Though they crossed paths at WSU during college, their connection truly sparked after a weekend away with friends in Chelan. From there, their bond grew effortlessly—one that led to them falling in love on their very first trip to Tamarindo in 2021. Years later, on the same stretch of sand outside Pangas Beach Club, Zach proposed during a magical sunset moment, surrounded by their closest friends and family. It was only fitting that they returned to this meaningful place to say “I do.”

The wedding week kicked off with a laid-back beach day at Lola’s and a rehearsal dinner at Pangas. Guests mingled and soaked in the pura vida vibes at El Be Beach Club during the welcome party, complete with sunset drinks and laughter. Charlotte and Zach created a full wedding weekend experience—one that celebrated not just their marriage, but their journey and community of loved ones.

The ceremony took place in front of the iconic Pangas tree with soft sand underfoot and bamboo chairs arranged facing the ocean. Guests were welcomed with glasses of champagne and asked to put phones away to stay fully present. A lush tropical floral arch framed the moment perfectly as the couple shared heartfelt vows, full of joy and sentiment.
Charlotte’s style elevated the whole event—her ceremony gown paired with a long veil and half-up waves felt effortlessly classic.

Dinner took place on wooden tables with textured chargers and boho placemats, topped with coconuts, colorful tropical florals, and pillar candles. A cozy wooden lounge with colorful pillows gave guests a place to relax near the beach. String lights twinkled overhead as the reception kicked off with a show stopping fire acrobat performance, followed by dancing under the disco balls.
Later in the evening, she changed into a playful corset lace-up mini dress for the dance party. It was the perfect look for twirling under the stars.
