Today I am taking you on a magical trip to Costa Rica, a gorgeous location for a destination wedding. Kerri and LaVictor were married on 29th March at Villa Punto de Vista in Costa Rica. The couple wanted an amazing backdrop mixed with romance and glamour, coupled with whimsical detailing. They really made the most of this stunning location with their beautiful beach ceremony, followed by a fun filled reception full of dancing and emotional moments. This is such a stunning wedding, I just love the white decoration, the flowers, the outfits and the reception detailing is just breath taking. Big thanks to Mil Besos Costa Rica for submitting this stunning wedding and for their wonderful planning work and to Adri Mendez Photography for capturing it so well.
A Love Story Rooted in Adventure
Kerri and LaVictor’s journey began in their neighbourhood, but it was their shared love for adventure that truly brought them together. “We love being adventurous! We travel a lot, play golf, snowboard, hike, lots of dinners out over weekends,” Kerri shares. Their engagement in Costa Rica wasn’t entirely unexpected—”I was not sure but was hoping!”—but it perfectly set the stage for a destination wedding that would bring together their blended family of five children (ages 8, 12, 14, 19, and 20) and closest loved ones.
The Perfect Setting
Villa Punto de Vista proved to be the ideal backdrop for their vision. The stunning oceanfront property in Manuel Antonio offered the perfect blend of elegance and beachside fun that the couple craved. With 40 expected guests, mostly family from the USA, the intimate villa setting allowed for the personal touches that made this celebration truly special.
Design That Tells a Story
Working with us, Kerri’s vision came to life through a design that was simultaneously “romantic, unique, and glamorous.” The ceremony and reception embraced an all-white palette that allowed the natural beauty of Costa Rica to shine through, while the welcome dinner burst with tropical colours that celebrated the local culture.
“Flowers!!! I love flowers!!!” Kerri had emphasized, and Sunset Cristal delivered beyond expectations. Lush white florals cascaded throughout the venue, with chandeliers hanging from trees creating an enchanted atmosphere. The design incorporated glamorous elements like mirrors and gold accents while maintaining the relaxed beach party vibe the couple desired.
When Kerri and LaVictor envisioned their perfect wedding, they knew it had to embody everything they loved: adventure, family, and pure fun. “We like FUN! Outdoor beach party! Great local flavours! I LOVE flowers!” Kerri exclaimed during the planning process. What unfolded at Villa Punto de Vista in Manuel Antonio was nothing short of magical—a celebration that perfectly captured their adventurous spirits and deep love for Costa Rica, the country where they got engaged.
