Happy Wednesday everyone! Today is a rather special day for me as Nik and I have been together exactly 20 years today. 20 years ago I was living in Nottingham and came up to Gatecrasher in Sheffiled for a night out with some friends, Nik tried to chat my best friend Sarah who quickly introduced him to her husband and to me……….the rest is history. 20 years on and here we are, 16 years married and still going strong! So today we are out for breakfast before we start work and then at the weekend we are going to Manchester for dinner at the Ivy and then onto see Moulin Rouge at the theatre.
Enough about me though, today we have the gorgeous wedding of Carrie and Victor who were married on 2nd November 2024 at the The White Home, in South Carolina. This is such a gorgeous wedding, it’s full of Boho Glam detailing from the chandeliers suspended from the trees to the stunning floral arrangements. I just love the outdoor ceremony and the reception looks like so much fun. Big thanks to DeLong Photography for the gorgeous photos.
This fall wedding was one of our favourites of 2024! It took place at the Historic White Home in Rock Hill, SC. A perfect blend of traditional Southern charm and modern bohemian elegance, every detail reflected the couple’s unique style. From lush florals and glamorous chandeliers to a custom decal dance floor, the celebration was nothing short of breath-taking. The couple also honoured the groom’s Vietnamese side and held a tea ceremony the day before the wedding. The bride changed into her red Vietnamese dress for part of the reception. Adding to the magic, the groom surprised his bride with a vintage Porsche as their getaway car—a moment we couldn’t resist capturing with some stunning night-time portraits.
This gallery beautifully showcases both posed and candid moments, from her mother’s tear-filled private moment before letting her daughter go, the bride’s emotional first look with her father, to the couple letting loose on the dance floor the images show their deep bonds, love, and personalities. The groom’s father also passed away when he was very young, so the mother-son dance was also filled with deep emotions for his mother.
