Katie and Jo’s ‘Rustic Charm’ Santa Barbara Vineyard Wedding by Elijah and Susannah

Happy Friday you lovely people, I hope you are all well and happy and have manged to get through this rather cold week. The snow hasn’t quite melted here in Sheffield, but it looks like it should be getting warmer soon, so normal activities can resume, those activities mainly being Christmas planning and celebrations!! On with today’s wedding as we head to sunny California for the charming rustic wedding of Katie and Jo who were married on 22nd September 2023 at  Demetria Winery in Los Olivos, California. This gorgeous wedding is full to the brim with the most amazing rustic touches, from the cake table to the pews in the outdoor ceremony. All of the decoration is just stunning, as are our lovely couple. Heyday Weddings & Events did the wonderful job of planning the whole day, while Elijah and Susannah were there to capture it for us.

Candice the planner tells us more about the wedding

Katie and Joey’s intimate wedding at Demetria Estate in Santa Barbara was a heartwarming celebration of love, rustic charm, and autumnal beauty. Their story began with a serendipitous meeting at a university bar, culminating in a vineyard proposal surrounded by friends and family.

The wedding, set in the picturesque Los Olivos wine country, embraced a boho atmosphere with earthy tones, warm neutrals, and hints of rust. The couple exchanged vows under a majestic oak tree, with wooden pews adding a timeless charm.

A standout moment was the Italian market-inspired buffet adorned with fresh herbs and lemons, capturing the couple’s love for rustic simplicity. Katie looked stunning in a Hayden Olivia Bridal gown, while Joey and their wedding party exuded elegance, perfectly complementing the fall foliage and natural beauty of the venue. Their day was an unforgettable blend of romance and intimate details.
