Cynthia and Jackson’s Magical Fall Boho Wedding in North Carolina by Melody Strider Photography

Today I am taking you off to North Carolina for this magical wedding, full of boho charm, gorgeous decor and gorgeous muted tones. Cynthia and Jackson were married on 12th November 2023 in Mooresville, North Carolina at Splendor Pond Flower Farm. Cynthia the bride got her DIY on and crafted a lot of the decoration herself and what a wonderful job she did too. I just love the pampas grass, the muted tones mixed with the terracotta, the smiley bridesmaids and of course Cynthia and Jackson’s boundless love! Big thanks to Melody Strider Photography for the beautiful images and to Events By Victoria for planning such a wonderful day.

fall boho wedding. It was magical.

Cynthia tells us more about they met and about the wedding

Jackson and I met through a dating app. Didn’t think anything serious was going to come out of it because we both worked a lot! We talked for about a month and then kind of just stopped talking. I ended up dating someone for a few months when my husband reached back out to me through social media and I ended up breaking up with the guy I was with because I just had a feeling he just wasn’t the right person I should be with.
For the next couple months my husband and I talked night and day, on the phone and FaceTime. We had still never hung out because our schedules were so opposite. He was in school full time and also worked late at night and I was working full time but we texted all the time. We knew that we wanted to be together and ended up saying I love you before we had even hung out in person! It felt like the craziest thing but we both knew it felt right. About a week later we finally hung out and met and it felt like we had known each other our whole lives.

Fast forward a little over 3 years later, he took me to the Riparian Reserve in our town in Arizona, a place we loved to walk around. He had scoped out a spot a few days before and took me to this opening in the brush where you could see the pond and he got on one knee and asked me to be his forever. From the moment I met him I knew he was going to be my husband and we would one day have a family of our own.

We got married in the courthouse in Arizona before moving to North Carolina and then began planning our wedding. Splendor pond fitted us and our style so well that after we toured the venue we knew that it was the place we wanted to say “I Do.” Infront of the people we love. I DIY’ed almost all of our decor for the wedding and it was tough but I had a vision and Victoria helped my vision come to life! I don’t know what we would have done without her!
