Sara and Jordan's Laid Back Boho Beach Wedding in Costa Rica by Bacalao Films

Today’s wedding is taking us to the luxurious shores of Costa Rica, for this Boho inspired, laid back, tropical dream of a wedding. Sara and Jordan were married on 4th November 2023 at Pangas beach club in a flower filled celebration of their love. They held a dreamy outdoor ceremony right on the beach, followed by a candle light reception, full of beautiful decoration. The whole day is just gorgeous, full of fun, love and the most amazing backdrop. Sarah and Jordan relished in all the boho wedding vibes in Tamarindo when they tied the knot in November of 2023. Their dreamy celebration at Pangas Beach Club perfectly blended the laid-back vibes of Costa Rica with the free-spirited essence of their union.

The couple, who met in Austin in 2014, was passionate about travel, exploring dozens of destinations from Mexico to Jamaica. Jordan’s surprise proposal at Wurstfest in New Braunfels, TX, became a cherished memory, with an engraved brick marking their special spot at the festival. After 8 years together, Costa Rica was chosen as the perfect backdrop for their long-awaited special day.

The wedding weekend kicked off with a welcome party at El Vaquero, setting the tone for the festivities. Sara took the opportunity for a hair and makeup trial, adding a touch of glamor to the celebration.
The ceremony at Pangas Beach Club was a vision of boho perfection. Vintage Moroccan-style rugs and large arrangements adorned the aisle that led to the majestic mangrove tree. The welcome sign exuded a boho-natural vibe with a hint of macramé, setting the stage for the beachside ceremony.

A bus whisked away the 50+ guests from the villas to the beachside ceremony, where the couple exchanged vows in the company of close family and friends. Sara walked down the aisle escorted by her brothers and mother while Jordan awaited her arrival. The handwritten vows echoed the depth of their love, creating a heartfelt and emotional moment.

Our agile team transformed the beachside space seamlessly, adding a tent and café lights for the dinner portion and the ensuing reception.
The atmosphere was electrifying, with a live DJ and cigar rollers, creating a vibrant and lively reception that echoed the couple’s dynamic energy.
As the night unfolded, the sparkler exit added a touch of magic, illuminating the love that surrounded Sarah + Jordan.
