Chris and Aria’s Cozy, Intimate Laid-Back San Diego Winter Wedding by Tayler Ashley Photography

I have the most wonderful wedding to share with you today from sunny San Diego. Aria and Chris were married on 7th December 2018 at Lot 8 and although this is a winter wedding the sun still shone for them as they had their perfect first look. They chose an intimate wedding of 50 close friends and family and filled their wedding with antique items, and carefully put together decoration. The day was laid back and had a warm, cosy feeling, all captured beautifully by Tayler Ashley Photography.

Tayler the photographer tells us more about the wedding

Chris stood alone on the cliffs of San Diego overlooking the ocean, waiting for his bride. Aria strolled up behind him in her BHLDN gown, looking like perfection. She tapped him on the shoulder and his eyes lit up when he turned around. They’ve been waiting for this moment for so long.

In front of 50 of their closest family and friends, Aria + Chris exchanged vows at the super hip Lot 8 in San Diego. Aria had spent months prior collecting antiques from local shops in Oregon, where they recently moved. Old whiskey bottles, maps, brochures, and books came together as their centerpieces. Guests signed a globe instead of a guestbook, played cornhole, connect 4, and jenga. Instead of a classic sit-down dinner, Aria + Chris served up stone-oven baked pizza and pie for dessert.

Their day felt less like a formal event and more like a cozy, intimate family gathering. It was so relaxed, inviting, and sweet. Aria and Chris partied on with all their guests and snacked on late-night popsicles. One final sparkler send-off and these two are starting their life together!
