Saturday Cinema: Natalie and Dan’s Tractor Loving Wedding by Beautiful Life

Welcome along to another fabulous weekend and another Saturday Cinema. I am working at another wedding today, that of Lyndsey and Jon who are getting married  just round the corner from me in Sheffield. They have booked me for an on the day co-ordination so I will be a busy bee all day making sure that every thing is where it should be and running to plan.

On to today’s featured presentation which has been sent into me by Shaun at  Beautiful Life. It’s the wedding of Natalie and Dan. Shaun tells us a bit more about the day…….

‘This was probably one of my favourite weddings ever. Natalie and Dan were really fun to work with and Dan owns lots of trucks so it was bound to be great!  It was a really lovely wedding with lots of personal touches. The pace was nice and relaxed
We arrived at the Brides nice and early and got to work capturing all the action and Natalie in her rollers!  After the bridal preparations we headed to St Michael & All Angels Church in Croston, Leyland for the wedding ceremony. Dan arrived in style in one of his trucks. Waiting for them after the ceremony was a big green tractor to take them to their wedding reception.  They climbed aboard the trailer, complete with sofa and champagne (no roof though!) it was awesome!  The Pickled Walnut Catering Company served an amazing meal and everyone had had a great evening on the dance floor.  I had been waiting all day for it to go dark so we could head outside and film the couple with all the trucks.  We switched all the lights on and shot some fab stuff.’

What as your favorite part of the day?
Bride: There are too many parts of the day that were special to list but seeing the sheer pride on my dad’s face as he saw me walking towards him in my dress for the first time! It’s not often I have seen my dad emotional but he sure was on this day! Then to see Dan’s at the church with the same expression…. these are images I will never, ever forget!
Groom: I was just made up how happy everyone was seeing Nat and I together. June 30th is my favourite day.

What advice would you give other couples?
Bride: Be organised and if possible take the week leading up to your wedding off work! I did this and my sister did too, and I do not regret it! Everyone commented on how calm I was right up to the night before the wedding. Largely because I set myself jobs everyday that week and together with the help of my sister, mum, mother in law and friends we ticked off the jobs and had Friday night to be pampered whilst drinking Moet! Perfect!
Groom: Just keep saying ‘yes’ darling!!!!! Ha ha!
