Happy Friday everyone and how are you all? have you had a good week? it’s been a busy week here at Boho HQ, but I am looking forward to a chilled weekend ahead. Saturday we have a trip to a planetarium planned which will hopefully be fun and then Sunday we are meeting up with friends, what about you? With wedding season starting up in full force I hope some of you will have weddings to go to, maybe even your own! How exciting! I am finishing off the week with this bright and beautiful destination wedding and it’s a real beauty! Kassi and Matt were married on 27th September 2025 in Montespertoli, Tuscany. They chose an intimate wedding of 18 guests, which meant they could really focus on the personal elements of the day, like the amazing flowers. I just adore the colourways of these beautiful flowers, so bright and bold, absolutely stunning. Big thanks to Viviana and Andrea for the lovely photos.
Kassi and Matthew met while playing sports in college, he on the baseball team and she on the softball team. Matthew was the new guy from Alabama, and Kassi was immediately intrigued. He, meanwhile, was convinced she was a senior (when she was a freshman), a detail they still laugh about today. What started as a fun campus connection grew into something lasting, and four years later, Matthew proposed on Green Mountain in Boulder, Colorado, with sweeping views that made the moment feel even more surreal.
With just 18 guests gathered in the Italian countryside at Matthew’s Uncle Joe’s home, their celebration felt intimate, vibrant, and completely unbound by trends. Kassi leaned into bold color, filling the space with tables lined in bright blooms that popped beautifully against the rustic stone walls and olive trees. Guests dressed in equally vibrant solids and patterns, creating a scene that felt more like an artful summer dinner party than a traditional wedding. Nearby, a live band played beneath a gorgeous open white tent beside the pool, keeping the energy relaxed but lively all evening. Even the cake made a statement—a fun semi-naked design layered with frosting and fresh fruit. And in true go-with-the-flow fashion, the night ended exactly how Kassi had dreamed: laughter echoing, music still playing, and the newlyweds jumping straight into the pool in their formalwear, fully committing to the moment.
