Today we are enjoying some summer sun as I take you away to beautiful Costa Rica for the gorgeous wedding of Jessica and Julien who were married on 18th July 2024 at Hacienda Barrigona. This beautiful beach wedding is intimate in size but big on love. The tropical colour palate, pops perfectly against the beach backdrop, with the bright reds and oranges looking amazing in the bouquets and table decoration. Event Planner Mil Besos Costa Rica has done a fantastic job putting this together with Adri Mendez Photography capturing the day perfectly fro us.
This lovely Swiss couple chose the perfect wedding location—an elegant villa nestled in the rolling hills near Nosara. This secluded hotel offers a refuge of relaxation, rustic charm, and breathtaking views in the Blue Zone of Costa Rica.
The excitement was palpable as Jessica and her bridal squad prepared for the big day. The group danced and Jessica twirled on the villa’s terrace, radiating joy.
The bridesmaids were gifted custom robes featuring their names and initials on the back.
Jessica, stunning in her wavy brown hair with braided details, was joined by her bridesmaids in soft mauve pink dresses as they embraced and giggled in anticipation. Julien prepped to look dashing in a light blue suit paired with a matching blue and white floral tie.
Gathered with his groomsmen for a moment of camaraderie, they shared cheers of ice-cold Imperial beers before meeting Jessica for their emotional first look.
In a quiet moment before the reveal, they stood back to back, building the anticipation for the big moment to come.
The ceremony was breathtaking. Jessica’s vibrant bouquet of heliconias, gingers, and bromeliads complemented the beautiful floral circle arch and the stunning aisle arrangements. As her father walked her down the aisle, Julien fought back tears.
The couple exchanged vows, sealing their commitment with a kiss, before heading to the beach for a romantic post-ceremony photoshoot.
The reception was filled with thoughtful details: woven rattan chandeliers, monstera leaf chargers, and light pink tablecloths that paired perfectly with the vibrant floral accents.
Jessica and Julien shared their first dance as a married couple before cutting into their two-tiered naked cake with fresh kiwi and passionfruit.
The evening was filled with laughter, games, and unforgettable moments. A highlight was the playful shoe game, which brought smiles to everyone’s faces.
As the night came to a close, the couple shared a kiss, surrounded by the love and joy of their family and friends, marking the perfect ending to a truly remarkable celebration.
