Saturday Cinema: PM Showing – Lexy & Jimmy’s English garden themed wedding by Marry Me Films

Welcome back to Saturday Cinema, this afternoons featured presentation is brought to you by Marry me Films and it’s a gorgeous English garden themed day of Lexy and Jimmy  who were married on Saturday 20th August 2011 at St Wilfrid’s Church Mobberly, Cheshire with the reception in a  marquee at Jimmy’s mother’s house in Prestbury, Cheshire.

There are lots fo things that I like about this wedding the fact that their dog attended, the bridesmaids in their patterned dresses. The beautifully decorated reception with bunting, hale bales, cupcakes and vintage crockery, all to fit with the vintage English garden party theme……..just stunning for a summer’s day!

I asked Sara from Marry me films what her favourite part of the wedding was ‘Our favourite part about the wedding, apart from Lexy & Jimmy’s dog attending the ceremony in a matching lace bow :), was how much effort they had gone to. The reception was held in a marquee at Jimmy’ mother’s house and everywhere had been decorated to fit in with their theme of an English garden party. The entire garden was decorated with bunting; there were hay bales for the children and numerous dogs to play on. The bridesmaids wore unusual paisley patterned dresses and the wedding cake was a huge Victoria sandwich displayed on stacked packing crates, both of which we haven’t seen before. The table centres were birdcages filled with roses, cupcakes and vintage mismatching crockery for name place settings. It was a really interesting, beautiful, intimate and emotional day.’
What do you think make a good wedding video ‘We believe what makes a good wedding film and is the most the important part of our job, is to capture the emotion between the couple. All the beautiful decorations and elements to a wedding are lovely and interesting to film, but at the end of the day the only thing that really matters is the commitment that two people have made to each other!’
