Happy Wednesday everyone and how is your week going so far? I hope it has stopped raining where you are, wasn’t yesterday just miserable! The rain didn’t stop Nik and I celebrating our anniversary, we had a lovely meal out, just the two of us, I just hope it isn’t another 2 years before we do it again. Today’s wedding sees us back with one of my long term regular photographers Loke Roos. Marte and Petter were married on 29th June 2019 on their family owned Island in the south of Norway. The day was super chilled and laid back and with Marte going barefoot for the day this really set The tone of the wedding. There was no electricity or running water on the island, which as you can image, made planning the whole day pretty tough. However, with a band of happy to help friends and family around them they pulled off the wedding with ease.
The wedding couple lives in Oslo Norway but got married on their family owned Island in the south of Norway. No electricity or running water on the island made the planning, decoration and cleaning very hard but rewarding. Everything had to be transported by boat. Generators and big containers of water made this wedding a perfect wedding in nature with a bride who walked around barefoot the whole day and night.
