Day one of Dexter’s Happy Land advent calendar – Getting lots planned for the christmas period – A day to myself with my boy – Out with the girls for Christmas drinks – Great food and company – Film night with Nik – Putting the tree up – Visiting the Kelham Island Victorian Christmas market – Visiting Santa – Train rides and roundabouts – Street food – Chocolate truffles – Making plans for the new kitchen – Building work starting on the house – A day with my boy and a trip to the museum – Works lunch out with my assistant Laura – Great food and drinks – Feeling festive – A playdate with Ellie and Becky – A trip to the farm to see Santa – Fun with the animals and the sand pit – A day off withy two boys – Bradfield school Christmas fete – Dexter’s first trip to the Cinema – Finding Dory a huge success and Dexter being very grown up at the cinema – Christmas party time and running around with his friends – A visit to santa – Songbuds Christmas party and Dexter loving the piano – dancing and party food – Getting my hair cut at long last – A food trip to M&S with no child (bliss) – getting my Christmas nails done – Nik back after a few days away – A girly evening with my girlfriends – Great food – Dexter’s nursery Christmas party – so much fun, cuddles hand holding and kisses – A lovely afternoon – Building work on the house really coming along – Mini Ravers and dancing with friends – The Santa train – Lots of fun with more friends – Dexter getting his hair cut – A family day to Cannon Hall Farm – Lots of animals and a lovely time with my boys – Great presents from Santa – Putting the out of office on – Meeting up with family – Meeting up with friends – Picking my mum up from the train station – Dinner with the two mums – The last of the present wrapping – Christmas Eve (very excited) – Lunch at the pub as a family – Christas eve christingle service – feeling very festive – Getting Dexter ready for Santa – So much excitement – Christmas day – A lovely day with the family and Dexter spending all day opening his presents – An amazing Christmas dinner cooked by Nik and the best roast potatoes ever! – Boxing day at the park – Toddler group at the Lama park – Dexter having fun with his cousin Lola – messy play and lots of fun – An afternoon with the whole family – A playdate with Dexter’s girlfriend – Lots of holding hands and giggles – Dexter having a sleep over with his friends – A trip to Leeds for a wedding – A lovely day and a good catch up with all my Uni friends – Ice cream and hot chocolates at the park with good friends – Sunshine – Getting my nails done – Sorting though Dexter’s playroom and getting his new presents tided away – New Years Eve – An early tea with our friends – Cocktails and fab company – Saying goodbye to a particularly bad year and looking froward to 2017 – Happy New Year everyone!!
