Set up in December 2009 the Boho Wedding Blog is a UK wedding blog celebrating all that is unique, unusual and alternative in the wedding world from the eyes of Kelly Hood, a successful award winning wedding planner.
Offering Expert advice the Boho Blog is a place for couples trying to do things differently to find inspiration and ideas. Covering new wedding trends, decoration ideas, wedding venues, new suppliers, wedding discussions, inspiration boards, wedding planning advice, as well as lusting over a great selection of real weddings, pre-wedding shoots and wedding videos.

Weddings should be about you as a couple, it’s all about individuality! The Boho Blog loves all things quirky, alternative and unconventional. Creating the wedding you want, not the wedding you’re told to have!

About Kelly:

Hi I’m Kelly and welcome to my blog.
I live in Sheffield with my husband Nik and my cat Dee. Together they are the 2 things I love more than anything else in this world. I got married on June 16th 2009 in Ibiza and it was from there that my obsession for weddings began! (you can see the full photos from my wedding HERE)

I set up the Blog to run alongside my wedding planning website. Since then the Blog has become bigger and better than I could ever imagine!

As well as being a full time wedding blogger I also run a successful wedding planning business, offering wedding planning solutions across the UK and Ibiza. It is with this wedding planning background that I feel I offer a different angle to other wedding blogs. As well as showcasing amazing weddings, suppliers, venues and ideas, I am constantly meeting you the bride, so I know firsthand what you want, what you are going through and what your wedding frustrations
are.

With this Blog I hope to not only inspire you to create the wedding you want, one that truly reflects you as a couple, but to offer you support and advice with all your wedding planning needs.

Things I Love:
My husband, my cat, my friends, food, cheese, scallops, mussels, prawns, crisps and dips, cocktails, wine, cake, Cornwall, Ibiza, New York, make up (especially lip gloss!) the colour yellow, dance music and donkeys. I also love the smell of freshly cut grass, fresh basil and Cornish pasties.

Things I hate:
People who take themselves too seriously, liars, early  mornings, ironing, emptying the dishwasher, being too hot, the smell of burning tar, spiders, cockroaches, being picked up on my spelling and being told what to do!!!

10 Things you may not know about me:

1)   Many years ago I was a dress designer with my own Club wear label

2)   I used to be a dancer in a 70s act

3)   I don’t eat red meat

4)   I was born in London and brought up in Cornwall

5)   My 3rd cousin is Nicole Kidman

6)   My curls are not natural, it’s a perm (But my read hair is natural)

7)   I’m a pretty good singer, but I will NEVER sing in public

8)   I’m Dyslexic

9)   I used to want to be a ballerina

10) I passed my driving test on my 5^th attempt
