Today we head back home. It’s been a great holiday but I’m ready to go now. Today is our last full day in Marrakesh. We spent the morning on a tour around the main historical places of interest, learning loads about the history of Marrakesh. I have to say that History isn’t my favourite subject and the trip was really fro Nik, but I had a nice time with my new friends and it was great to see so much of the city again!… Read more »

This afternoon we have been back to Marrakesh centre but instead of the hustle and bustle of the Medina we have been to visit the Marjorelle Gardens. A totally contrast to the rest of the city, the gardens are tranquil and relaxing I managed to get some more photos and had a lovely time taking in the beauty of the gardens. Today we have been out of the hotel all day on a trip into the Atlas mountains. It’s been a fantastic day! We were driven by 4 x 4 by a legend of a driver all day. Today has been a lovely relaxing day! I spent most of the day by the pool and it has been so hot! 37 degrees! so I spent most of the time in the pool cooling off. Today has been a great day, as we went on our first trip into the centre of Marrakesh. We went into the Medina and had a look round the souks. It was SO busy and there was so much to see. Nik got a shoulder massage from a traditional chemist and I bartered for a new bag which I managed to get at… Read more »
