Yesterday we were in sunny Ibiza and today I am jetting you off to glorious France for this most gorgeous same sex wedding of Manuel and Brad. They decided on the location of the wedding long before they were even engaged, and you can tell from these photos and the gorgeous scenery why the area of Luberon left such a strong mark on their hearts. They really treated their guests by making the celebrations last across 5 days, with the wedding being the perfect combination of elegance and style. I love these two super cute grooms, their style, their smiles and their overall love for each other. Big thanks to Dites Moi Oui their wedding planner for the submission and to L’Artisan Photographe for the images.
Manuel & Brad were married in a destination wedding in Luberon, France. Manuel and Brad spent a week cycling through the Luberon, stopping in a new village every day. It was the first time they had visited the area and they quickly fell in love with the countryside. The last leg of their journey was in a resort perched on a hill with a commanding view of the Luberon. They knew that they had stumbled across a very special spot and they both agreed that this would be the spot where they would someday return to be married. The wedding lasted several days: First day – a boat cruise in Paris with a half of guests. Second day – a family dinner in a delicious restaurant in Luberon. Third day – a welcome dinner in the garden of the venue with a lovely live band looking at the vines. Fourth day – the D-day : a visit of a famous provencal village in the Luberon valley, Roussillon, following by a lunch in a French Bistro and of course an intimate ceremony on top of a hill looking at a gorgeous view on Luberon valley and a dinner and party. Fifth day – relaxation in the luxurious Spa of the hotel followed by a pool party in the venue.

Happy Monday everyone, I hope you are all well and have survived this weekend’s horrible weather! It may be blowing a gale here in the UK, but in Ibiza it is super sunny and lovely and warm, and that is where I’m taking you today. You may remember one of our lovely Boho couples, Whitney and Tom from last year. Whitney wrote for the blog in our Diary of a Boho Bride feature. Well she is back today with the results of all that wedding planning she told us about. Like myself, Whitney chose Ibiza for her wedding, she even chose the same DJ as I did! And after spending a few years planning weddings in Ibiza in my days as a wedding planner it is lovely to look through these photos and see the suppliers they chose for their big day. This is a beautiful day Filled with the most gorgeous bright flowers and of course that wonderful Ibiza sunshine. Big thanks to Belle and Beau for the beautiful images, I know you are going to love them!
Whitney and Tom were married on the 30th May 2016 at Agroturismo Can Gall. ‘We had looked at several venues in the UK and hadn’t been wowed and everywhere felt quite formal which just didn’t feel like us. We had our hopes set on an outdoor wedding, guaranteed sunshine, a relaxed atmosphere and a good party – after seeing some amazing weddings in Ibiza and reassurance from our friends and family that they would make the journey we settled on Ibiza and didn’t look back! We had 60 guests and the wedding took 12 months to plan’.

Welcome to the weekend everyone! I hope the dreadful weather has cleared up fro you now and that you are enjoying the sunshine that we’ve got in Sheffield. Today for our Boho Pins feature we are taking a look at gift and card boxes and places to put them at a wedding! It’s so helpful to have a designated area of guests to relieve themselves of their gifts as soon as they arrive, they will need hands for champagne and confetti after all! Here’s our favourite picks from Pinterest!

Happy Friday everyone! I hope you have all had a good weekend and that you are now ready for the weekend. Have you got much planned? rest relaxation? something exciting? Whatever it is I hope you have a really good one. We are finishing off the week with this super fun wedding, that takes place over a whole weekend. It involves the guests camping, an outdoor ceremony, a tug of war and a rather splendid sack race! A fun-filled wedding from beginning to end with quite a bit of alcohol mixed in to keep the party a lively one. Photo by Andy Li Photography.
Louise and Andy were married in a legal ceremony on the 29th July 2016 at Wellington registry office followed by a home cooked meal at Henley Farm House, and they then had a second ceremony for a larger number of guests the following day in the House gardens. ‘I always wanted a festival wedding where by we could have as many of our friends and family all staying in the same place for a weekend but without it being too costly for quests which meant that hotels were out of the question. We needed somewhere with indoor accommodation for older family members and those with young families. Henley Farm house fitted all the criteria with 10 bedrooms for the wedding party, with two lounges, two kitchens and a larger dining area to support feeding the whole family for the weekend. It had a large rear garden safe for families and room to play with a large adjacent field for people to park and pitch up their tents. We had about 25 guests to the legal ceremony and then about 120 to the Saturday celebration. We booked the venue about a year in advance and the then just pulled everything together in that year – it was really fun to plan and buy things across the year.’
