Profile

Do you hate the idea of booking a wedding photographer because you've heard they take ages with their group photos? Do you also hate the idea that you'll be bossed around and made to pose in an untaural way, that's just not you? If so I hate all of that too!! That's why, as a natural documentary-styled photographer, I much rather blend into the background on a wedding the day telling everyone to just ignore me just enjoy your day. That's how I capture those all-important story-telling images people tell me they love: The time when your grandmother hugged you with tears in her eyes. The moment when you shared a joke with your best freinds and you burst out in laughter - Whatever the emotion I capture it without asking anyone to 'pose', or 'pretend that you're laughing at a joke'. etc (Just writing that makes me cringe! Argh!!)

It's as Danielle and Marco wrote in their testimonial (sentiments repeated by many others): "You were fantastic in being very subtle and non-intrusive in your manner...you’d been so subtle; we’d forgotten that you’d even been there! Which means our photos are really natural and relaxed and you’ve just captured us having fun and being on top of the world!"

People often ask: "How far are you willing to travel?" Being a West Midlands wedding photographer makes me ideally placed in the center of the UK to capture your wedding anywhere in the surrounding area and further a field, throughout the UK and even abroad. Over the years I've shot destination weddings in Ireland, the Carribbean and Mexico to name a few. So distance is really no object.

There are many wedding photographers to choose from, plus many who are documentary wedding photographers. But there's not many with 30 years experience as a wedding photographer. Having been there, seen it and and done it, I'm able to anticipate and adapt to any circumstances you could possible encounter at a wedding, as still come away with a record of a wedding day to be proud of.
