Now I’m a big fan of thunder storms. The heavy, sweaty, dense feeling before them and the relief and freshness that they leave behind. My children love them too, which I’m thankful for; we line up against the windows at night watching for lightning and counting the miles until the thunder erupts. It’s not the same for everyone and if you are frightened of the unpredictability of storms then I hope that you have managed to steer clear of them over the past couple of days. In the calm of this Sunday morning, I invite you to take five and enjoy this week’s Best Bits and I hope that the coming new week is the perfect start to your summer holidays.
It was the rainbow of colour that drew me to the best wedding this week. And this is only Part One from Matt Parry, I can’t wait to see the second installment. I love the traditions, the family support and especially the beautiful, delicate hand and feet painting. A sheer joy this one and I’m already looking forward to sharing part two with you, when I can.
