Today we are heading across the pond to for this gorgeous Colorado Wedding. It’s the wedding of Amy and David who were married on 20th July at Hill Side Gardens. The thing I love about American weddings is the amazing places they get to choose for their ceremonies, something that we are pretty limited to in the UK, unless you want an outdoor blessing! This wedding is the perfect example of this as the scenery is breathtaking, as are all the little quirky hidy holes that the gardens offer. I am especailly fond of the paper bouquets, button holes and hair accessories that Amy and David have decided to incorporate into their outfits. Thanks to Lisa Meeter the photographer for sending me the wedding.
Lisa tells us a bit more about the day………..
This wedding was at Hillside Gardens, a beautiful location in the midst of Colorado Springs. Around every corner was a unique and fun aspect to the location. Glowing gardens, old antique cars placed all around, bicycles and rustic ladders to be used as inspiration! Instead of an afternoon or evening wedding this bride and groom chose to serve a fabulous breakfast to their guests! Warm cinnamon buns and sweet muffins filled the air with aroma of yummy treats. The guests got to mingle with the bride and groom at separate timed occasions and their big first look was down the lovely aisle under the Colorado blue sky and fresh mountain air.
