365 Happiness Project: Day 250

Today has all been about Claire and Toms wedding at Utopia at Skipton. It’s weddings like this that remind me why I love my job so much! Claire and Tom are the nicest couple anyone could wish to work for, Claire had a very clear idea about what she wanted, I’m going to call her style modern rustic chic. Utopia is a very modern venue built of glass and wood, a bit like a giant green house, so she wanted to keep the style modern but keeping in tune with the beautiful gardens and nature around the venue, so she decieded to go with wood as a theme, incorporating moss, lots of green plants and flowers and splashes of purple to mirror the plants that were in the surrounding gardens. A marquee was erected next to the venue for the wedding breakfast, while utopia itself was used for the ceremony and the evening party. Claire and Tom are a wonderful couple with wonderful friends, the day was an absolute joy and I wish them all the happiness in the world together.
