Saturday Cinema: Jemma and Will’s Farm Wedding by Kissing Gate Films

Happy Saturday to you, and welcome along to another Saturday Cinema! I hope it is warm and sunny where you are? Today I am at my first wedding of the season, I have headed down to Beaconsfield just outside of London for the wedding of Claire and Tom. They have an amazing day planned, with lots of surprises for their guests! I can’t wait to share all the details and pictures with you in a few weeks.

For now though let’s have a look at the gorgeous wedding video of  Jemma & Will, who got married on 31st March in Silverstone which has been sent into me by ben at Kissing Gate Films.
The wedding is so cute and has some really touching moments. The details that Jemma has put together are wonderful, I especially like the bear bottle table plan! I am also loving the  wedding transport for the guests, as well as the bridesmaids black dresses. Wills speech is very touching, and there are some lovely moments when they are having their couple shots taken by the photographer!

I asked Ben what his favorite part of the wedding was ‘Undoubtedly my favourite thing was the fact that the reception was on a farm, although I was a bit gutted that I was on a farm all day and all I saw was one horse!’
What do you think makes a good wedding video? ‘A lot of videographers will always say ‘we are a bit different’ or ‘we are a bit quirky’. Of course, I think you need to stand out a little bit but a lot of wedding films can get spoiled by a videographer trying too hard to be ‘modern’. At the end of the day, you are there to document a wedding and we should all concentrate on getting beautiful shots. Once you have beautiful shots it’s down to the edit and how you tell your story. Interesting music is always nice too. It’s refreshing being asked to use songs that you wouldn’t generally associate with conventional weddings.’
