Amy and Alex’s Colourful DIY wedding filled with Bunting, Pom-Poms and a Jelly wedding Cake

Happy Monday to you all and welcome along to another week! I have something different for you today and a bit of a cinematic treat! I was sent this wedding video by Richard at FX Films for my Saturday cinema feature but I love it so much I thought I would share it with you all today.

It’s the most beautiful wedding of  Amy Ridgeway and Alex Mitchell who were married on 29th Oct at Artist’s Beach House + The Lobster Shack (both in Whitstable, Kent)

Richard says ‘We were really looking forward to filming an intimate wedding, set in a beautiful beach house…but we had no idea the day would be laden with such colour (check out the bunting and paper pom-poms!), and end with oyster tasting and a jelly wedding cake!

I’m not quite sure where to start on the things I love about this wedding as there are just so many. The colours, all that brightness just looks amazing the bunting and the paper pom-poms, the DIY favours, confetti, the gorgeous flowers, all the amazing food, the gorgeous venue….the gorgeous bride and groom, the oysters. I think my favorite part has to be the Jelly Wedding cake, what an amazing idea! Well done to Amy and Alex on a completely unique day!

I asked Richard what his favourite part of the wedding ‘All the colour! Provided by the bunting, the bridesmaids dresses, the flowers, the big paper pom-poms, and of course the wibbly-wobbly jelly castle cake!!’

What do you think make a good wedding video: ‘A perfect love story, and a bespoke wedding theme to suit the couple’s personalities!’
