Photographers Photos – A Show and Tell With Ross Dean

I asked Ross to tell me a bit more about himself and his work so I will pass the blog over to him

I’m based in the beautiful county of Suffolk, where we are truly blessed with some of the most amazing venues in the country. I find that many couples from London and other UK cities often choose Suffolk for that little piece of natural romantic atmosphere, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. I also offer my services throughout the UK and overseas.

I formed my business in the summer of 2009, initially concentrating on portraiture and then moving to weddings in 2010. My love of capturing people at their very best was my passion for starting my own business. The trigger for truly making it happen was the realisation that it was also a gift to document the most meaningful moments in life. As a groom myself in 2009, I also noticed that there was a significant need for a very client-dedicated experience. In most cases at the time, photographers would book you and then have little contact with you before the big day. I’m a true believer that the experience and same level of attention should start from the initial consultation and throughout the lead up to the day, and not just the day itself. As something like this was not available to brides and grooms local to me, I seized the opportunity and started to build my business true to these standards.

Style of photography
I like to think that my photography can be summed up in three words: Stylish, Modern & Vibrant. My overall aim is for your images to reflect the whole day as it unfolds. My couples have invested so much love and attention in their wedding and so it’s my job to create memories of all the joy, love and laughter that their day will bring. I absolutely love it when we get some time out to go off on our own and create some stunning portraits of the bride and groom. I love to create signature images to celebrate the love they have for each other. This time when we step out is one of the rare opportunities when the couple have time together apart from the hustle and bustle of the wedding day – it gives them an opportunity to just be themselves and savour the moment.

I think that my exceptional client experience from the moment we meet sets me apart from other photographers. I will personally be on hand every step of the way, ensuring that the run up to the big day is a very special experience in itself. I’m also passionate that everyone deserves amazing images of their big day and I’m dedicated to making that happen.

Pricing
Selecting me as your photographer in 2012/13 starts at £1497 for unlimited coverage on the day, personal online gallery, your engagement shoot and a beautiful wedding website, allowing you to share your images and wedding details with your loved ones. My couples usually choose one of my collections that marries all of this together with one of my stunning fine art albums, a set of Hi-Resolution digital files or maybe a beautiful piece of wall art.

I truly believe that investing in a beautiful album creates a valuable heirloom that will be cherished throughout our lives and long after we are gone. I also understand though, that in a digital age many couples also highly value the investment in the digital images of their day. Traditionally, these images would be presented to the couple in the form of a single DVD, but as technology moves on, it was time to offer a new solution to my couples that didn’t rely on a sole disk that could of course be misplaced or damaged. So new for 2012, I am offering a unique cloud-based delivery of the digital images. This means that the couple will have their own online bank of digital images which they can access at any time and anywhere they are, through their internet browser or mobile device. There is the option to download either a single image or indeed the full set at a touch of a button making it the most versatile and convenient solution on the market in this age of social sharing.
