Today’s styled shoot is full of fun and full of colour, as we head off to Canada for some picnic wedding inspiration. The shoot took place on 7th October 2025 in Cambridge Ontaario and is the brain child of photographer Fedora Media and a wonderful team of fabulous wedding suppliers. If you were thinking of an alternative type of wedding inspiration then why not take inspiration from today’s shoot and opt for a helicopter!? This shoot shows that you can have fun with your wedding day, pimp up a picnic, throw in a huge dash of colour and really go to town on the decoration.
A wedding doesn’t need chandeliers or ballrooms to feel elevated—it just needs intention, personality, and a setting that lets love take up space.
This intimate field ceremony began in the most unforgettable way: a helicopter arrival that turned an open landscape into something cinematic. Dust lifted, blades slowed, and suddenly the moment felt suspended—like the whole world had paused just long enough for the couple to step into it.
Waiting below was a luxury picnic reimagined far beyond the old idea of blankets and plastic tablecloths. Instead, the setup felt editorial yet grounded—layered textures, and thoughtful styling that blended seamlessly into the natural surroundings. Bursts of colour ran through the design, echoing the couple’s personality: playful, bold, and unafraid of joy.
The menu matched the tone perfectly. Elevated, artful dishes replaced traditional picnic fare, turning the meal into part of the celebration rather than a break from it. Every detail felt considered, from the presentation to the pacing of each course.
What made the day feel most personal, though, were the small choices: matching Converse worn under wedding attire, quiet nods to shared memories, and details woven in with intention rather than excess.
It was proof that “picnic” no longer means casual or disposable. In the right hands, it becomes something refined, expressive, and deeply intimate—luxury not in formality, but in meaning.
The orange and teal color scheme for this outdoor picnic wedding is truly unique and striking! The blend of an elegant natural setting, a luxurious helicopter ride, and a refined dining experience creates wedding inspiration that is at once free-spirited, modern, and incredibly cozy.
